Our Mission

At School-Aide, we believe in equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in their educational journeys, despite economic disadvantages. This is why we are striving to foster a future where every individual has equal access to quality education. Together, we can bridge the educational gap, inspire lifelong learning, and unlock the full potential of every child.

Kids around the world are restricted from pursuing their dreams in education due to financial issues, lack of access to study materials, or health issues (e.g. lack of sanitary products). This prevents them from choosing careers that require higher levels of education. In doing so, a cycle of poverty is created in which the next generation cannot escape due to the lack of educational opportunities and supplies.

We raise money and collect school supplies to provide underfunded schools with the ability to provide higher-quality education to their students. Currently, we are aiding schools within Africa and India, and we are aiming to expand our reach to more countries in the future.

Lara Makkapati

On a family trip to Kenya, my family and I visited a Maasai village in Amboseli. There I found that the children went to underfunded, rural schools which limited the quality of their education. This reduces their future opportunities and therefore stops them from having future opportunities outside their village. In fact, only a few educated village members were able to travel away from their village and pursue higher education. Through this organization, I am able to help these children take hold of their future and find their way to a better life.
